Lucian Hrisav

Lucian Hrisav (b. 1994) lives and works in Bucharest where he graduated from the National University of Arts in the departments of painting and mural painting. He coordinated spaces such as Atelier35 and the Multimedia Visual Arts Center between 2018-2021, along with different groups of young artists and curators. It uses various media (sculpture, installation, video, painting and digital processing) to investigate the state of freedom of the self and the power which the emotional element has in influencing them.

He has exhibited in Portugal, France, Denmark, Rep. Moldova and Romania in various group and personal projects in spaces such as the Museum of Contemporary Art in Bucharest, the Museum of Recent Art, the National Art Museum Chisinau, La Maison de l’International.
